The American Institute of Vedic Studies is an educational center providing a broad range of training programs, resources and publications. It focuses on Ayurveda, Vedic astrology, Yoga and their interconnections. It provides in depth examinations of Veda, Vedanta and Tantra along with the background system of Hinduism and Sanatana Dharma. It is one of the few places in the world today that brings the greater Yoga tradition together and explains it in an integral and authentic manner with regard to its ancient lineages and branches. Founded and directed by Dr. David Frawley (Pandit Vamadeva Shastri), it serves as a vehicle for his work, offering courses and consultations to go along with his many popular published writings.
